Review: Stormcrow (The Great Library, #0.5) by Rachel Caine

Stormcrow (The Great Library #0.5)Stormcrow by Rachel Caine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

‘Stormcrow’ is Rachel Caine’s second prequel to ‘The Great Library’ series.
It is written from Scholar Christopher Wolfe’s perspective and follows his first meeting with Captain Niccolo Santi, at the time, Lieutenant.
Wolfe is only eighteen in this novella, so it was interesting to learn more about his character. The first person perspective took a slight adjustment since I was used to the third person writing in the previous novels.
I found this novella very similar to the other one as it took a slightly romantic standpoint due to the first meeting between Wolfe and Santi.
Either way, I enjoyed it, although it did need some editing for the writing.
Congratulations to Rachel Caine on publishing the second prequel novella!
