Artemis Fowl: The Graphic Novel (Artemis Fowl: The Graphic Novel, #1)Artemis Fowl: The Graphic Novel by Eoin Colfer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

‘Artemis Fowl: The Graphic Novel’ could have been better. Like extremely better. Having read the series and knowing how it goes did ruin what I thought of the graphic novel because the novel itself was SO GOOD. Like incredibly, amazingly, stupendously good. Artemis Fowl is a complicated character who was quite attractive and intelligent in the novel. In the graphic he just looks like a weirdo with an even weirder hairstyle. And acts as if he is only a criminal and not the child prodigy that he is. The graphic also captured the bare minimum of the plot and I believe lost a lot of detail which would have made it spectacular. That being said I thought a lot the characters looked…bizarre. Seriously, they are not that ugly! Anyways, a nice quick read overall.
Congratulations to Eoin Colfer on publishing his first graphic novel!
