‘Chained to You: Bounded’ was FANTASTIC! Ever since first discovering this new, self-published author, Alexia Praks, on Wattpad, I’ve loved her works and greatly enjoyed following her as she grew and evolved as an author. Her ideas have always been great but her writing had always let her down before, in my eyes. Here’s what I loved about this novella…
The writing. I could tell that Alexia Praks had greatly improved as a writer. The writing flowed more easily, and there were nearly no awkward phrasing or sentences which stood out. The grammar itself had improved vastly, as did the number of typos and spelling mistakes. I couldn’t find any formatting issues in my ARC and I loved it! Everything was neat and minimalistic!
The great writing allowed me to explore and connect with the emotions more deeply and easily. The magnitude of emotion – which all of the authoress’s works have a plenty – is something I greatly admired. The fact that her writing was now able to more successfully convey those emotions and bring them forth just made me a more satisfied reader.
This leads me to the story. I love how creative the authoress has been! Each of her novels were something unique and special with ‘Chained to You: Bounded’ being no exception.
I found reading from Mia’s perspective to be highly amusing! She is such an innocent creature but I loved her tenacity, loyalty and kindness. Following the story from her first person perspective was great fun!
The novel also follows James Maxwell but from third person narrative. I liked how the author transitioned smoothly between the two and the definite distinction she made between the two characters.
Fellow readers, the chemistry between these two characters is something mighty powerful so be warned and PICK IT UP!
Congratulations to Alexia Praks on publishing the FIRST volume in the new ‘Dark Billionaires’ series!
1 star : Strongly did not like the book, writing and plot was bad. Idea of the book was against my liking.
2 star : Didn’t like it, didn’t find it interesting or gripping. Seemed to drag on to me.
3 star : An average book. Wasn’t bad or good. Everything else was well done. Original idea.
4 star : Like a 3 star but has potential to it as a series or the book grew on me as it progressed and certain scenes captured me. I Enjoyed it and read it in one sitting.
5 star : I LOVED IT! I stayed up late until 3 am. Author is a genius, characters, plot, idea, development, EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT. Nothing else can possibly be said except that its 5 STAR!
