‘Baby Love Me’ is the third book in the ‘Spinsters and Casanovas’ series, so if you haven’t read the previous two, do so, otherwise this book will make nooooo sense. ‘Baby Love Me’ continues the story of Clarice and Hunter after the accidental fertilisation of Clarice with the wrong man’s sperm – aka Hunter’s. This novel was sweet, delicate and very cheesy yet very romantic, too. It was funny because the characters’ often naïve and impulsive action, yet light and easy; so if your looking to read something on the lighter side: this one is for you.
Wanitta Praks was an author I came across on Wattpad – one of the most well known free writing apps on the market – who captured me with her new and different writing style.
Like Alexia Prak’s (Wanitta’s sister), Wanitta Prak’s writing is really simplistic yet these two are still able to bring the emotional side to a story through its simplicity. I have not yet come across a novel, that these two sister authors have written, that has not made me:
a) overly emotional
Their writing is one of the most adorably cliché pieces that I have had the pleasure to come across. This may be a downer for some readers so if you are not ready for cliché moments, then this one (or the rest of Wanitta Praks’ writng, on that matter of fact) is not for you.
This novel lacks grammar sophistication which you see in most published novels due to being self-published and going straight on the shelf without an editor yet I saw no typing errors or spelling mistakes throughout whilst reading.
The story plot was very original but also very overused – like I said, downer for some, whilst the opposite for others. This is the writer’s first series, so mistakes are bound to happen.
Overall, this was a very solid three star. Congratulations to Wanitta Praks on yet another published book! Let your fandom rise!
1 star : Strongly did not like the book, writing and plot was bad. Idea of the book was against my liking.
2 star : Didn’t like it, didn’t find it interesting or gripping. Seemed to drag on to me.
3 star : An average book. Wasn’t bad or good. Everything else was well done. Original idea.
4 star : Like a 3 star but has potential to it as a series or the book grew on me as it progressed and certain scenes captured me. I Enjoyed it and read it in one sitting.
5 star : I LOVED IT! I stayed up late until 3 am. Author is a genius, characters, plot, idea, development, EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT. Nothing else can possibly be said except that its 5 STAR!
